Every apartment has been personally designed and carefully furnished with a mix of timeless interiors, natural materials and unique pieces collected during my travels. I believe luxury isn’t about excess—it’s about comfort, character and attention to detail.

Leonora Nieuwenhuizen

Beyond my passion for design, let me introduce myself.

I’m Leonora. I lived in Bali for three years, I’m dreaming of buying a riad in Marrakech to start a boutique hotel, and Byron Bay, Rajasthan and Ibiza are places that endlessly inspire me. Traveling the world fuels my creativity and sparks new ideas for the homes I create.

I always carry my Gucci glasses. I drink endless cups of tea. People say I’m bossy (and they’re probably right). I talk too much, I rarely get jokes, and I absolutely hate wall-to-wall carpet.

I founded Boutique Homes in Holland to connect with inspiring people and to challenge myself to design holiday homes that feel warm, cosy and unforgettable. My goal? To give every guest that boutique hotel feeling — whether they’re staying in my villa by the sea in Bergen or in one of my Jordaan apartments in Amsterdam.
