Stay & booking

What is the minimum rental period? The minimum stay is 3 months, with a maximum of 12 months. This makes my apartments ideal for expats, relocating professionals, or anyone who wants to experience living in Amsterdam like a local rather than a tourist.

Can I extend my stay if I want to stay longer? Yes, extensions are often possible depending on availability — just get in touch with me before your booking ends and I Will do my  best to accommodate you.

Is the apartment fully furnished? Yes, every apartment is fully furnished with a unique, carefully designed interior, including linens, kitchenware, and wifi, so you can move in and feel at home right away.

What's included in the rental price? The rental price includes gas, water, and electricity, wifi, and end-of-stay cleaning.

Is a security deposit required, and how much? Yes, a security deposit is of 3.500 euro, refunded after check-out provided the apartment is left in good condition.


Location & neighborhood

Where exactly are the apartments located? Both apartments are located in the Jordaan, Amsterdam's most famous and romantic neighborhood, known for its picturesque canals, small shops, and cozy streets.

What makes the Jordaan a great place to live? Once a working-class neighborhood with a colorful past, the Jordaan is now one of the most popular and charming areas in Amsterdam — full of local boutiques, markets, cafés, and canalside walks, while still being within walking distance of the city center.

How far is it from Schiphol Airport / Amsterdam Central Station? Amsterdam Central Station is about a 15-20 minute walk or short tram ride away, and Schiphol Airport is roughly 20-25 minutes by train or taxi. [check exacte tijden]

Are there supermarkets and shops nearby? Yes, the Jordaan is full of local supermarkets, bakeries, and specialty shops, all within a few minutes' walk.

Is parking available? No, parking you can do with park and ride there are different locations all out of the city center.

Practical for longer stays

Can I register at this address (for a visa/BSN)? Yes, you can register at the address for visa or municipal (BSN) registration purposes.

Who typically lives in the Jordaan? The Jordaan is home to a mix of locals, expats, and occasional tourists, giving the neighborhood an authentic, lived-in Amsterdam atmosphere rather than a purely touristic one.

Are pets allowed? On request for the ground Floor apartments only.

Can I work from home here? Yes, each apartment has reliable wifi and a comfortable space to work from, making it easy to combine your stay with remote work.

Is there a washer/dryer? In some of them; or laundrynette around the corner also a great place to meet people.

What are the check-in and check-out times? What works best for you I am flexible.
